Concept: Love for seafood, the “Burgundian lifestyle,” and good wine.
Objective: The Seafood Bar needed a sustainable look. We created that look by using materials such as oak and slate. De Horeca Fabriek chose for light colours and a slightly modern style which gives seafood a bit more of a classy look. Even though the restaurant is located in the van Baerlestraat (a fancy part of Amsterdam), the restaurant had to attract a wide target audience. Think about the many Japanese, Chinese, and Russian tourist visiting Museumplein, for instance. Rein Rambaldo had a big role in the realisation of The Seafood Bar.
